The camp rock2: The Final Jam
Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam -
follows , Shane (Joe Jonas), Jason (Kevin Jonas)Mitchie (Demi Lovato)d their friends as they return to Camp Rock for another great summer of music and fun.
However they soon learn that a new state-of-the-art music/performance camp, Camp Star, has opened across the lake and has lured away many of Camp Rock instructors and campers-putting the future of Camp Rock in jeopardy.
Placed in a hapless situation with Camp Rock’s director (played by Daniel Fathers) already bent to shut down Camp Rock, it’s a thrill to see how the young campers would defy the odds and outsmart the other camp.
In the middle of tense scenes, the campers would break into song numbers that only pump up the audience’s energy to root for the underdogs.
Can’t Back Down is our most favorite cut in the film’s 14-song soundtrack. Here, Mitchie Torres (Demi) asserts her leadership and galvanizes her fellow campers to stand up and fight for Camp Rock in a big percussive rhythmic dance number that is a mix of rock and urban sounds.
“We can’t back down, not right now...don’t close your eyes, we’re in this together,” Mitchie and the campers sing in a superb production number.
Another crowd pleaser is the equally exhilaratingIt’s On, a magnetic hybrid of classic rock and hip-hop performed during the two camps’ first face-off as they agree to a showdown to prove who is the better camp.
The finale is a breathtaking battle royale between the two camps in a widely-televised competition that one shouldn’t miss. It will make you cry, laugh, hope for the best, and cheer and in the end learn something wonderful in life — with a big smile.. :)

Harry Potter and the deathly hallows 2
Yes! This one sees Harry Potter finally squaring off against Voldemort; something that we’ve been waiting long for. Don’t think that I didn’t trust Harry, his abilities, or his belief in the cause that he was fighting for.But haven’t you always felt like saving him from a face-off against Voldemort?
A silent pray er that always asked for Albus Dumbledore, Sirius Black, or Remus Lupin, to come and act as Harry’s savior! But this time, as we gear up twee want him to surge ahead.nd surge he does! With the last installment to be up for release in some hours, premiere feedbacks have it that this is the coming of Harry Potter.
He needs no saviors this time, and he’s all set to unleash his fury against The Dark Lord! Neither his fans, nor Harry himself wants anyone to intervene, when he takes it out against Voldemort; one on one. And if speculations are to be believed, the Great Hall at Hogwarts would see the two, wands raised, craving to shed some more blood!
With the luxury of four-plus hours of screen-time to devote to the last book, the HP franchise was able to give some of the most enthusiastic fans since Beatlemania the details they deserve. So Harry finally takes on Voldemort with no horcruxes left unmentioned or unturned......

Captain America
If you take a World War II movie, dial up the action with contemporary visual effects and CGI, then give your hero a double dose of steroids and human growth hormones, you wind up in the movie/comic book world of Captain America: The First Avenger. The movie is, of course, Marvel Comics' and Paramount’s filmization of Joe Simon and Jack Kirby’s Super Soldier series that first appeared in comic books in March 1941, well before Pearl Harbor, so understandably this is one superhero movie that demands that the first movie at least be a period one. So you get an alternative WWII, say like Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds -- only without all that dialogue and enough oversized vehicles and outlandish sets to fit its beefcake hero.
For in terms of even recent films, Captain America lacks the deft touch, appealing character interaction and sophisticated storytelling skills of Marvel Comics’ X-Men: First Class. And let’s not even bother to compare this to Christopher Nolan’s Batman series.
Captain America delivers comic book action that should satisfy Captain America’s fans, old and new, while Chris Evans’ no-nonsense yet engaging portrayal of a man who doesn’t know how to back away from a fight may cause young women to swoon and young men to join a gym. Yet the film will leave others wondering -- especially following the film’s long gestation and marketing buildup -- “Is this all there is?”
Sticking to its simplistic, patriotic origins, where a muscular red, white and blue GI slugging Adolf Hitler in the jaw is all that’s required, Captain America trafficks in red-blooded heroes, dastardly villains, classy dames and war-weary military officers. There is no ambiguity here. Nor does any superhero question his powers. No, sir, not in this war and not with these determined heroes.

Pirates of the Carribean: on stranger tides
But the war with Spain was over, and the pirates were now outlaws, with the Navies of all the European powers against them. So Jennings led them to Captain Mission's old pirate base: the port of Nassau on the island of Providence in the Bahamas. This stood directly in the line of trade from Europe to the American colonies and Africa, the triangle of goods, sugar and slaves that made England rich, and built her western cities, such as Bristol and Liverpool. As every ship had to sail the 'trade winds' in this direction, every ship would have to run the pirate gauntlet. Those merchants rich enough paid heavily for Naval protection, and their ships sailed in convoys.
Jennings united the pirates under Captain Mission's code. He insisted on the honour of the Brethren of the Sea, claiming they were the only true gentlemen, those well-born being but a pack of wolves that gorged on the helpless and weak. The pirates came from the 80% of Britain that lived in desperate poverty and lawlessness, and having suffered from terrible injustice, they chose not to tolerate it.
Each pirate company aboard each ship elected a captain, to lead them when 'chasing or being chased' and a quartermaster, who was to protect the rights of the men from the captain. When in Nassau, these captains and quartermasters formed the Nassau council, that heard complaints, and attempted to keep the peace, not just between the pirates, but between the pirates and islanders and the occasional Governor appointed by the British government.
Those pirates such as Edward Teach, or Blackbeard as he styled himself, who could not conform to humane standards, were not welcome in Nassau. Indeed, Blackbeard and his crew were based on Saint Thomas, and then the American mainland.
Some of the pirates, such as Captain Cockram of Harbour Island, married island women, founded families, and made significant contributions to their small settlements. Captain Cockram compiled an accurate chart of the Bahamas from notes and scraps of navigator's maps, and presented his life's work to the ungrateful Governor Woodes Rogers. He was also involved in building the small forts that saved the islanders when they were attacked, and in organizing the islanders' effective defense.
